PS - yes, these mukluks are suede but they hold up really well! They have a 1" Vibram rubber sole which keeps you out of the muck, and as long as you're not jumping in puddles of slush they'll stay looking new for years! I bought the ones I'm wearing in the top picture at the beginning of the season last year and wore them constantly (remember how cold and awful last winter was? I wore them daily) and they still look new. Don't be afraid of the suede!

For some reason they been overlooked by many, including myself. But that I've tried them on I immediately had to have them and they've become a wardrobe staple! So soft and comfortable, and they are perfect for getting out and enjoying this fall weather. I walked 40min to work in them today and my feet were absolutely thrilled with my new purchase. We had these boots last year and they FLEW out of here - 100% waterproof, rated to -25, awesome grippy soles and cute as heck. If you're in the market for a pair of winter boots this year, you might not want to wait for the snow - we had quite a few disappointed gals last year with cold feet and dreams of this boot! Aren't they just the COOLEST???? These bad boys are made by Luxury Rebel and they have captured my heart. I love them - they actually make me feel like if I ran into Kate Moss on the street she would probably compliment my boots! They have a wire sewn along the hem of the leather cuff that lets them hold whatever shape you mold them into. I like keeping one side done up and the other side folded over just a bit, but you can play around to find what works for you.

Oooh - I love these boots! We first saw them back in March and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them! We think that this pump is the cat's pyjamas. And we're not alone! This is Acrea by TSUBO, their signature pump that they relaunch every season. Which means at Luna Blue we have been selling it now for three years! The reason why they can't stop making it (and we can't stop ordering it) is because it is sheer perfection! The angled strap is so flattering on the leg and it has a very classic yet funky silhouette that never goes out of style. But it's secret weapon is that it is probably one of the comfiest pair of heels you will ever own! It doesn't look like it should be, but it is. Trust us :) Since we have been selling it for so long, we have heard back from LOTS of our customers who have bought it and LOVE it, and are excited to see it appearing each season in new colours so they can justify a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th!) pair.

Hmmm, I tried my best to describe this boot, but I think our friends at infinityshoes.com did a MUCH better job! Here's what they have to say on a recent blog entry:

One classic that we love every year is the Miz Mooz Bloom wedge boot. With soft, faux fur lining, a lightly padded midsole and an elastic gusset at the top of the shaft, the Bloom boot fits perfectly and feels amazing. The decorative buttons combined with the slouch details give the Bloom a vintage-inspired aesthetic that stands the test of time.

All I can do is nod my head and agree. That's EXACTLY what the Bloom boot is like :)

BONUS: Miz Mooz came up with the brilliant idea of introducing this boot in a larger calf width! The standard calf width is already on our shelves and we'll have the newer calf width version in our store SOON!

cause this one is MINE! I'm sorry - I have to - I love them!!! They're so fun & different from what everyone else will be wearing. When you wear them stretched tall they sit nice and high on the leg, and when you slouch them down and they look super cute and cozy. Plus the sweater detail at the calf means they will fit any calf. Sigh .... I'm gushing, I can't help myself!

- They do fit on the big side and I ended up buying the Euro size 40 instead of my usual 41 so we do have a 41 available that will fit our size 11 girls!

And it gets better: they will fit calves of all shapes and sizes! They have a velcro panel down the length of the boot (don’t worry - you can’t see it because it’s hidden by the leather). Delivery trucks full have been pulling up almost daily since last week, and it is sooooo fun seeing all those new shoes & boots coming through our door! We thought this blog would be a great way to give you guys a sneak peak of what's popping up on our shelves.
