We're in shoe heaven over here!

just focus on the shoes, focus on the shoes ...

Not the legs, not the toes, and certainly not the baggy knees! I've been trying for days to take a picture of these GORGEOUS shoes in a way that would do them justice but I can't. Not even close. These are the best I've been able to come up with, but you really need to see them in person to get a feel for just how perfect they are! And I think I'm a bit of a broken record saying how comfy our shoes are, but they truly, truly are an amazingly comfortable pair of heels!

a Sunday daydream ...

In reality I'm cuddled up at the store in my Manitobah Mukluks, but in my dreams I'm wearing THESE on a blanket, eating something deep-fried & listening to some tunes at the Calgary Folk Festival! Birkenstock has come out with some pretty blinding colours this year, and we couldn't be happier! We also carry them in an array of lovely natural coloured leathers - my favourite being 'tobacco' (a word I never thought of as particularly alluring, but on this sandal .... tobacco = yummy!). So yes, it's yucky & snowing outside but if you want to get in the summer music festival frame of mind, we've got our Birks ready and waiting :)
