We had these boots last year and they FLEW out of here - 100% waterproof, rated to -25, awesome grippy soles and cute as heck. If you're in the market for a pair of winter boots this year, you might not want to wait for the snow - we had quite a few disappointed gals last year with cold feet and dreams of this boot! We've also got them in charcoal, a shorter version in white and a few dressier styles and heels for our oil and gas employees downtown. All super warm and cozy. Bring it on, winter!

my boots got me lookin' so crazy in love!

Aren't they just the COOLEST???? These bad boys are made by Luxury Rebel and they have captured my heart. I love them - they actually make me feel like if I ran into Kate Moss on the street she would probably compliment my boots! They have a wire sewn along the hem of the leather cuff that lets them hold whatever shape you mold them into. I like keeping one side done up and the other side folded over just a bit, but you can play around to find what works for you.

Oooh - I love these boots! We first saw them back in March and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them! Two thoughts have been running through my mind ever since - please don't let the heel be too high (it's not!) and pleasepleaseplease let them fit my calves (they do!!!). They're going to be so perfect with all of the 70's inspired clothes that are coming out this fall - someone take me shopping!

We think that this pump is the cat's pyjamas. And we're not alone! This is Acrea by TSUBO, their signature pump that they relaunch every season. Which means at Luna Blue we have been selling it now for three years! The reason why they can't stop making it (and we can't stop ordering it) is because it is sheer perfection! The angled strap is so flattering on the leg and it has a very classic yet funky silhouette that never goes out of style. But it's secret weapon is that it is probably one of the comfiest pair of heels you will ever own! It doesn't look like it should be, but it is. Trust us :) Since we have been selling it for so long, we have heard back from LOTS of our customers who have bought it and LOVE it, and are excited to see it appearing each season in new colours so they can justify a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th!) pair.

Hmmm, I tried my best to describe this boot, but I think our friends at infinityshoes.com did a MUCH better job! Here's what they have to say on a recent blog entry:

an apology to my size 10 friends ...

cause this one is MINE! I'm sorry - I have to - I love them!!! They're so fun & different from what everyone else will be wearing. When you wear them stretched tall they sit nice and high on the leg, and when you slouch them down and they look super cute and cozy. Plus the sweater detail at the calf means they will fit any calf. Sigh .... I'm gushing, I can't help myself!

- They do fit on the big side and I ended up buying the Euro size 40 instead of my usual 41 so we do have a 41 available that will fit our size 11 girls!

New boots!

First day back from holidays and was greeted by these beauties from Miz Mooz! It's good to be back, Calgary! Fall shoes and boots arriving daily now - stay tuned for more pics or stop by and see them in person :)

Ahhhhh ....!

We’ve always prided ourselves at finding shoes & boots that are super cute but still comfy. Well these lovelies from Portugal have really raised the bar! They are absolute HEAVEN for your feet! In the three years we’ve been open they just might be one of the comfiest boots we’ve tried on (flats included!). Try them on and you’ll be in the same dilemma we are - brown or black? Brown or black?

And it gets better: they will fit calves of all shapes and sizes! They have a velcro panel down the length of the boot (don’t worry - you can’t see it because it’s hidden by the leather). This gives us a few inches to play with to get the perfect fit for your leg. Brilliant! And gorgeous! Truly the Dolph Lundgren of boots ...(apparently Mr. Balboa's nemesis is a genius - google ‘smart celebrities’ and he’s at the top of every list. Who knew?!?).

now we remember why we opened a shoe store ...

because boots. are. AWESOME!!!
