patiently waiting ...

Well, maybe 'patiently' isn't the best way to describe how I feel while waiting for these shoes!! We saw these beauties from Miz Mooz back in September and promptly placed our order ... and haven't been able to stop thinking about them ever since! The wait will hopefully be over next week when we're expecting our shipment - stay tuned!

PS - yes, these mukluks are suede but they hold up really well! They have a 1" Vibram rubber sole which keeps you out of the muck, and as long as you're not jumping in puddles of slush they'll stay looking new for years! I bought the ones I'm wearing in the top picture at the beginning of the season last year and wore them constantly (remember how cold and awful last winter was? I wore them daily) and they still look new. Don't be afraid of the suede!

Makes for some pretty bright pictures!! I was running around trying to get a pic without shadows and sunbeams then just decided to go with it! This headless shot was inspired by the super-duper talented Lori Andrews and her amazingly creative photographs, interior design and personal style.
